Marketing Coordinator
Miles IT’s Marketing team is seeking an energetic and organized Marketing Coordinator who is eager to build a career in marketing operations and team coordination. In this role, you will serve as a vital operational anchor for our marketing team—helping drive execution, streamline daily workflows, and clear blockers across websites, digital advertising, SEO, and content creation. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure high-quality work is delivered on time, every time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate directly with Miles IT’s customers via email, customer portal, video meetings, and phone to assist with website and marketing requests.
- Coordinate with developers and other team members as needed during your shift. May include assistance prioritizing tasks or reaching out to customers for additional information
- Work within our project management software to organize tasks assigned to yourself and other team members.
- Serve as a resource to the members of the Marketing department to obtain information or other resources that will help us get high-quality work done on time.
- Once understanding of our services is established, share sales orders with scopes of work for marketing and website services when customer needs are identified.
- Perform text and image updates on WordPress (primarily), Shopify, and other website platforms

EDUCATION
REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience (such as a degree in Marketing, project management experience, or certifications like PMI or Certified Scrum Master).
SKILLS
REQUIRED:
- Familiarity with Google Workspace apps (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Calendar, etc) or similar Microsoft applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
- Flexibility with the ability to multi-task and change gears effectively
- Solid decision-making abilities and high attention to detail
- Proven capability in managing and following established processes
PREFERRED:
- Experience using project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, BaseCamp).
- Hands-on CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
- Fast typing speed (75+ WPM).
- Self-driven, independent worker who is a fast learner.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness, high emotional intelligence, and a focus on continuous improvement.
